This brings to mind the words of St. John from the Revelation about the New Jerusalem. Allegory - this is the New Jerusalem or the Heavenly Jerusalem. Allegory is hidden behind the walls of wrong understanding of the Bible directly according to the text.

 "И будете есть старое прошлогоднее, и выбросите старое ради нового". Старое понимание Библии прямо по тексту (без толкования) будет забыто ради нового иносказания. Как тут не вспомнить слова Иоанна Богослова из Откровения о Новом Иерусалиме. Иносказание — это и есть Новый Иерусалим или Небесный Иерусалим. Иносказание как за стенами города скрыто за неверным пониманием Библии прямо по тексту.
